Disney Day was a whirlwind of fun and excitement here at CCC! It is always one of our favorite theme days as campers enjoy showing off their favorite Disney attire, singing Disney hits and even sharing some favorite Disney memories. We loved the awesome and creative costumes. There was so much to see… From princesses to princes, Disney heroes and more, it definitely put us in a fun spirit on this beautiful day!
Our classes were filled with a lot of hard work as we are quickly approaching the end of Week 1! Our campers know that camp is full of fun but that we also have a job to do! In just one week, we’ll be rehearsing the full show so campers know they have to focus and work together to make sure the show comes together.
Outside of focusing on our production, campers have been enjoying our classes that do not focus on the show to relax, be creative and spend time with new and old friends. While we check in at all of our classed throughout the day, we always hear lots of laughter and see plenty of smiles as campers enjoy their day at CCC!
Special Performance TONIGHT!
Join us tonight on the Hill! CCC is excited to perform as a part of the Springfield Township Summer Concert Series. Our concert will feature the talents of our cast members from this past year as well as many of our staff. The performance takes place on the hill at 7pm at the Springfield Township Building (50 Powell Rd, Springfield). Bring a chair, blanket and treats. Hope to see you there!
A Special Thanks from CCC!
Are you down the Jersey shore today? Did you happen to see a special thank you to our CCC families fly over you on this beautiful beach day? It’s been a memorable and record breaking summer and we are so grateful for the love and support of all of our families this season. We have still so much to celebrate in this final week and half but send our thanks to all our campers and their families this summer!
Sharing our Creativity
In both Art and our Set Design Workshop today, campers were able to use different creative skills to have some fun today! In Art, campers worked together to make their own Disney game boards. There were so many unique details on each board that campers want to continue working on them in art class. We loved watching everyone work together and support each other’s ideas.
In our Art Workshop, campers helped paint our set pieces and assist with prop plans. We loved seeing the blend of colors for Aladdin come to life on the stage thanks to everyone’s help and hard work!
