Additional General Information for CCC Programs

Fall Production & Winter/Spring Production: These productions provide on stage experience for children in Kindergarten through 9th grade. All students have the opportunity to be a member of the cast and production once registered. Students are members of the ensemble or are cast as a lead, supporting or dancer role. Shows are announced (usually in August for the year) and auditions/casting follows. The production season usually lasts 7-9 weeks and ends with the production weekend (Performances Thursday – Sunday).
Spring Production: Following our winter/spring production, CCC holds an accelerated Spring Production for students in 6th-12th grade interested in a fast past performing arts experience. Students will have the opportunity to meet with a variety of instructors and be a part of the creative process in this new program. Students meet two to three times a week during the season over six weeks to prepare for the performance.

Summer Camps: CCC offers three, two week summer camp sessions for children in preschool through eighth grade interested in music and performing arts. Each camp is designed to prepare campers for the musical performed on the last two days of camp. Campers rotate through music, dance, art, acting and games classes throughout the day. Campers experience theme days and water day during their two week session! In addition to our camp class rotation, children in the 5th-8th grade have the opportunity to learn about behind the scenes (tech, set design, audio/visual), audition experience/preparedness, Costume Creation & Design and more. Registration for camp normally opens in mid January or early February and will remain open until camps fill. Camp Registration Day is announced in August of each year for the year ahead.

CCC Singers: A new and fun vocal ensemble for 4th-8th graders. This group meets on select Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:45-6:00pm following the fall season and the spring season to learn a variety of music by sharing and combining their voices. A variety of music will be taught to experience new genres and choral music. This group will perform throughout the year as requested for the community.

Winter Cabaret: Following our fall production, CCC holds a winter cabaret for students in 5th-9th grade interested in singing solo, duet or group performances. The cabaret gives students the opportunity to have one on one time working on their own gifts and talents through music and song as well as work with other students through group numbers. The Winter Cabaret rehearses in November and December and has their performance in mid December.

Audition Prep Series: This program is open to students in grades 4th-9th interested in working on their audition skills and preparation. Each session takes place before a new season begins (typically in August and December) to help students prepare and receive critical and honest feedback. The audition prep series is 3 hours long and includes instant feedback and support to assist students as they go through any audition process. These sessions are limited in size and open to students in grades 4-9.

Shine Night Out: A night of fun, friends and service for 5th-8th graders that takes place the 2nd Friday of each month during the school year.
