Mary Poppins Jr. took place at CCC March 22-25, 2018 and took the audience by great surprise with magical flights and the timeless story of Mary Poppins, Bert and the Banks Family. We enjoyed a big “Spoonful of Sugar” through this “Supercal” weekend with the large cast! Thank you to the many sponsors and supporters who helped to make this production possible!

Elf Jr. was a HIT at Catholic Community Choir in November 2017! This hilarious and fun filled movie brought to life on stage was a blast for CCC. A story filled with talented and shining actors and actresses, this will be one we never forget! I just like to smile, smiling is my favorite! We will see you for a #SpoonfulofCCC in March 2018 for Mary Poppins Jr.!

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr.

CCC brought Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr. back to the CCC stage this winter! Telling a “tale as old as time”, CCC welcomed thousands to this timeless tale March 30th-April 2nd. Another great weekend in the CCC books with memories made to last forever! #ShineforMissSteph

Previous Productions

CCC celebrated their 25th production by taking flight to Neverland April 14th-17th, 2016 at Cardinal O’Hara.

With the great tale of Peter Pan, Captain Hook, and the Darling Family on an adventure in Neverland, the largest cast in CCC history of 220 children, made sure to leave the audience impressed!

Pirates, Mermaids, Lost Boys and more! We had a wonderful weekend celebrating the CCC cast and crew. Thank you to all who were a part of this memorable 25th season!

Wizard of Oz took place November 5th-8th at Cardinal O’Hara High School and marked our 24th Production Season!

With record breaking audiences, this show captured the hearts of all who were a part. From the special effects to the amazing costumes, makeup and dedication of the set team, this was a CCC production that will always be remembered and cherished!

The talent on the CCC stage was remarkable! The reviews and surprised reactions of the audience echoed through the lobby as audience members left with smiles and tears of joy. Remember, follow the yellow brick road and you’ll always get home!

For the third time, Catholic Community Choir, brought Godspell to life on stage with our senior cast. Our cast consisted of students from ten different middle schools and high schools. Bringing to life the beautiful parables written in the Godspel of Luke, this amazing cast brought together their talents and gifts as a community to wow us all. Godspell continues to be a wonderful tradition at CCC that reminds of our true mission, “bringing faith and fun center stage”, and will be back someday soon!

CCC took to stage a Disney and CCC favorite for their second summer session and 18th Production! After two busy weeks of prep work, this cast of 100 plus wowed our packed audiences with magic as we took a magic carpet ride together and celebrated the story of Aladdin, Jasmine and the Genie!

Music Man, Jr.

Catholic Community Choir took it to the next level throughout the Music Man, Jr. production season by surprising the audience with new and exciting pieces of the production never seen before on the CCC stage. With life lessons and musical numbers leaving the audience cheering and smiling, Music Man, Jr will forever be cherished as a fan & staff favorite. From the amazing details, costumes for each cast member, moving vocals and lots of little feet moving together, Music Man had audiences talking long after they left the show. We learned together that at CCC, every day is worth remembering, thanks to the lesson taught by Harold Hill!

During their first summer session, CCC took the trip to a sweet chocolate factory to tell the tale of Charlie Bucket and his search for the Golden Ticket. Together, we learned about the value of honesty and shared in the happiness of Charlie’s great find! After a wonderful camp session, CCC brought Willy Wonka to life on stage for a great audience!

Disney’s High School Musical Jr. was a huge success as CCC celebrated their 15th Production! With a cast of over 200 young students the talent across the stage really exploded. The cast truly lived up to the phrase: ‘There’s not a star in heaven that we can’t reach’. The amazing performances of the cast reached hundreds of people in the packed theatre of Cardinal O’Hara High School. CCC would like to thank COHS for the gracious support of their students and for a warm welcome into their theatre. Congratulations to the entire cast and crew! CCC wishes you all the best in your future adventures. Remember, there’s not a star in heaven that you can’t reach! GO WILDCATS!

Disney’s 101 Dalmatians Kids

During the two weeks summer camp ran, the 150 kids had a blast! Between singing, acting, dancing and games, there was much laughter and friendships. The heat wave couldn’t slow them down! Water day was a day filled with games and fun. The first week of camp flew by and before anyone knew it. The show had to be moved to the Parish Life Center due to large numbers of ticket sales! Our very supportive families and friends were in for a treat when they saw all the little puppies and Cruella De Vil on stage! CCC’s Third Annual Summer Camp was a spectacular time and staff members are looking forward to the Fourth!

Godspell Jr.

CCC introduced their first ever ‘CCC Seniors’ during the production of Godspell Jr. This cast consisted of a group of about 30 students from 5th grade to 9th grade. Production season began in September with once a week rehearsals all the way through the beginning of March where practices then picked up to three to four a week. This group of unbelievably talented young people performed two weekends in April with a Broadway inspired stage. With the stage in the center of the theater and audience surrounding it, the cast was challenged in ways they have never been before by involving all sides of the stage for audience members. The production of Godspell Jr. will always hold a very special place in CCC’s heart and history. This was the first ever CCC Senior production and will certainly not be the last.  A special ‘Thank You’ goes out to all those 9th graders who have graduated from Catholic Community Choir with Godspell Jr as your last show! You have made your mark in CCC and hopefully you will come back to be a Junior Production Assistant one day! Congratulations to the entire cast of CCC’s Seniors: Godspell Jr!

Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr.

Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr. was CCC’s 12th production season. With all four shows sold out, audiences were left standing on their feet wanting to see more. From the music, talent and effects, this production was for sure a great memory for all as it continues to be a buzz around town. Congratulations to the entire cast, company and crew of Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr.! You brought the “Disney magic” to the stage and brought people from near and far to see your great production! We will never forget our time “under the sea” for our 12th production season!

Disney’s The Aristocats Kids was a huge success! Celebrating CCC’s 10th production as well as their second annual summer camp. 120 campers put on an amazing show for family and friends. During the two weeks spent at summer camp, the campers  added their own touch to the set by helping in creating the props and costumes. They also learned the songs and dances and had lot’s of fun in games. CCC campers and staff had tons of fun and are looking foward to the third annual summer camp next year!

Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr.

Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr. was a huge success! The cast of about 160 talented children put on four amazing shows at E.T.Richardson Middle School in Springfield, PA. Through many weeks of hard work and dedication, this cast was able to really shine on stage. The wonderfully odd musical was real challenge to bring to life on stage but as always, CCC made it happen. Everything from fiber optic curtains, magic cookies, crazy Cheshire Cats and even a Mad Hatter, CCC has done it again with another spectacular show.  

Seussical the Musical

Seussical the Musical was a historical show for CCC for many reasons. CCC had come full circle since its founding in 2006. The nearly 180 cast members came together and delivered an incredible show. The cast, staff, crew and parents in Seussical showed more than ever that CCC truly is a family. Congratulations to the entire company of Seussical. It was a remarkable season.

Roger & Hammerstein’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat was CCC’s first full length production in the fall of 2011. Making history with 130 talented cast members, CCC added a orchestra pit, great lighting effects, beautiful costumes and incredible vocals! CCC delivered the story of Joseph and his brothers energetically to four great audiences. With great enthusiasm and spirit, these cast members  truly showed the audience that “Any Dream Will Do”!

Disney’s The Jungle Book KIDS was a result of CCC’s 1st Summer Camp.  With a cast of 60 strong campers, the cast and crew worked very hard at putting the production together in 9 short days!  Campers put on a fantastic show, and built friendships and bonds with other campers that will last a lifetime.  Way to go campers!

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr.

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast was presented in the winter of 2011. The 180 strong cast took the stage at Ridley Community Center and it sure was magical! With countless sold out performances, confetti cannons, huge production numbers, magical costumes, standing ovations, and a set that is indescribable, DIsney’s Beauty and the Beast was a production that brought the gifts of smiles and laughter to so many people. Hats off the entire company! 

Annie Jr.

CCC presented Annie Jr. in the Fall of 2010. With a cast of 90 strong, it told the great story of little orphan annie. The Annie Jr. production season brought the world’s best staff together and made dreams come true. Great work!This was a great memory for the extremely talented cast!

CCC presented Disney’s CInderella Kids in the Fall of 2009. Well over 100 actors took the stage brought the magical tale to life! The Disney tale brought sold out performances and laughs that will remain forever. Great job to all who participated. 

Godspell Jr.

In the spring of 2009, CCC presented Godspell Jr. The cast told the stories of Jesus and and brought the gospel to life. This show was truly special and very memorable as it was a time of evangelization. There was not one cast member, staff member or audience member that was not spiritually moved by this production.

Aladdin Jr. was presented in the fall of 2008. Aladdin Jr. was CCC’s 2nd production. Aladdin Jr. had a tremendous cast of 60 actors. They took the audience on a magic carpet ride. Aladdin Jr was a very special production because because it was already showing the growth of CCC. It really brought the sense of family to life. 

Seussical Jr.

Seussical Jr. was CCC’s first production and it was presented in December of 2007. The small but talented cast consisted of 32 students. Little did we know that this was just the beginning for CCC. and that we were just getting our feet wet. Seussical Jr. was a great story that was based off of Dr. Seuss. Seussical Jr. only had two performances, but they had over 500 audience members at both shows. Special thanks to all those who made Seussical Jr happen because they made CCC come to life!
