Day two is complete after a busy day of hard work and fun as we got right to work with Disney’s Aladdin Kids. Our leads and supporting roles know the big job at hand and will be busy leading their fellow campers. Believe it or not, in just one week, we’ll be already running our production. The pace of summer camp is completely different than what we do at CCC through the school year. We’re always impressed with how fast the campers learn all of the music, choreography and blocking and appreciate the hard work by the production team who makes it all happen!

Our day brought our first full rotation of classes for this session. We are blessed to have 7 awesome classes that our campers will visit throughout the two weeks. By visiting so many classes and staff, the day sure flies!

Highlight on our Set Workshop!

Miss Mia has been with us all summer long and giving campers a special behind the scenes view of how a show comes together. Campers have enjoyed putting their own touch on the set and designing big and small elements of each production. Through this experience, some campers have found they have a new passion for set design or have grown in their creative abilities. We love having campers work hand in hand to support our production efforts. It makes the big and small details all the more special!

Arabian Masks in art Class

Campers enjoyed making their own Arabian inspired masks in art class with Mrs. Ellis today! There were so many unique creations from all campers inspired by our focus on Aladdin!

Special Performance Wednesday Night!

Join us Wednesday night on the Hill! CCC is excited to perform as a part of the Springfield Township Summer Concert Series. Our concert will feature the talents of our cast members from this past year as well as many of our staff. The performance takes place on the hill at 7pm at the Springfield Township Building (50 Powell Rd, Springfield). Hope to see you there!
