This week has truly flown by! We’re just about done week one of our first session and have had such a great time together. We have watched campers make new friends, spend time with old and work together to make some great summer memories. With four days down already, we can only imagine how much fun is still left for this fun group of campers.

We have learned so much of our musical already too. We know we have a lot to accomplish in just eight days of camp before it’s show time! So we are wasting no time, and letting our talents shine thanks to the help of Mr. Jacob and Miss Keira! When campers leave on Friday, they will have learned just about all of the components of this show and will return ready to put together all the magic when they return on Monday!

We danced and laughed through dance class with our groups today. We’ve learned so much choreography already from Miss Molly and Miss Mary Kate and know it will look great with a few more days of hard work at camp.

We continued to work hard in our workshop class as we put our own touch on parts of the set that we will use next week. We are super impressed with everyone’s ideas and contributions to our design!

Faith & Fun Center Stage

Today in Faith Formation our campers learned all about our Blessed Mother using the Most Holy Rosary. Each camper had a rosary in hand or shared one with a friend. We asked our campers to offer up any and all special intentions they may have for the CCC family. After 6 classes, our whole camp had collectively prayed a rosary and then some, with each class praying a decade each.  We finished each class with the story of Our Lady of Fatima!

Some campers also had the chance to spend time with Mr. Brac learning some of our favorite songs at CCC that are often sung at cast masses. It was great to have some extra time to work with Mr. Brac and sing together, outside of preparing for our show.

Fun & Games on a Cloudy Day!

Cloudy weather is no excuse to miss out on a camp favorite outside at games… Capture the Flag! Our campers have been eagerly waiting to scatter the field and face off against each other to see which team will be the winner! Mr. Babcock is always prepped and ready to make sure our campers are having the best time possible!

Tradition in Art Class

Campers relaxed and enjoyed time in art class while they made their kiss bags for our shows next week. Guests of our performances will have the chance to buy treats for their performer to put in their “kiss bag” in the lobby. We have loved the continuation of this tradition at CCC at every show!

Campers of the Day

Congratulations to our Campers of the Day! These campers were awarded for being an example to others, being a team player and for shining both on and off the stage! Congrats to Kara, Anna, Stella, Cole, Reagan & Elizabeth! #CCCshines
