Our campers were shining brightly all day in their colorful and creative outfits they wore for our CCC/Tye-dye/Favorite Staff member theme. We saw the wildest tye-dye shirts ever! Some of our campers even dressed up like some staff here! We saw a few Mr. Babcocks running around, a couple Mr. Brac’s, and even some Miss Mary Kate look-a-likes!
The last two weeks have been filled with singing, dancing, and new friends for everyone. Our campers have been working very hard to ensure that not a second goes to waste when it comes to preparing for our show.
Throughout the day, we held multiple stage times to run through our show and polish up any scenes that need some work. These include stage time with our older groups, some stage time with our younger groups, and lots of stage time with our whole cast combined.
Off the stage we have been working closely with the campers to make sure they are ready to nail each and every song and dance number in the show. By tomorrow we will be excited and prepared to shine on stage for all of you. Make sure you get your tickets online or at the door ASAP!
Besides focusing on the show, we still made valuable time for summer fun. We had some of our favorite classes today like games, art and faith formation! In games our groups played a variety of games that were filled with plenty of laughs that filled our down time.
During art class our campers finished up their kids bags and had time to free draw, or work on any other projects they needed to finish! In faith formation Mr. Elijah taught us about the Prodigal Son. He taught the campers that God loves them and will always love them no matter what, which is exactly what we are called to here at CCC. To love no matter what!
We still have lots to do and very little time. We are confident that all of the work we have done will be brought to fruition by these amazing campers. Check out this video to see some of the awesome work they have already done.
Theme Day Winners
This was a fun theme day for sure! Celebrating our “CCC/Tye-dye/Fav Staff Member” theme with a CCC spirit day. Lots of incredible costumes and outfits were on display today. Great work by all! Congrats to our theme day winners!
