Today was a great Tuesday! After 7 days of hard work, Aladdin Jr. is really starting to come together! We were delighted to start the day in the best way we know how… with the Mass! Today is the Feast Day of the Assumption of Our Blessed Virgin Mary. We were very grateful to have Father Moloney lead us in Mass first thing this morning in venerating our Blessed Mother and praising our Lord.

Let’s Put it All Together!
With the morning having set a beautiful tone for the rest of the day, we went about our business as usual. We had our normal set of classes: music, dance, special, faith formation, games, and art. We really polished things up today in our music and dance class. In both classes we learned the “Finale” and continued to review the many other songs and dance numbers we have learned so far. These include songs you may have heard like “High Adventure” and “Prince Ali”. At this point we have taught every song and dance in the show!
With this amazing progress done, we had everything we need to put our acting scenes together in blocking class throughout the day with Mr. Will. He began to add our featured ensemble to the scenes and we even ran through the whole show with our leads!

Faith and Fun
In art class we had loads of fun making our very own genie lamps! Each and everyone are creative and unique and we could not be happier with them! We also got crafty at our special class today. We made DIY dog and cat toys for Providence Animal Center out of old t-shirts that our campers were super excited to make. Outside at games was fun in the sun! We played camp favorites like Sharks & Minos and Assassin.
We were especially excited to have our “Mary Day” in faith formation class today. Given this Feast Day of the Assumption of Mary, we figured we would honor our mother by praying a decade of the rosary with each group. This we we got to finish a whole rosary by the end of camp. We also played Mary songs, and told stories of Marian apparitions. It was a wonderful time all around!
Our set workshop wrapped up with Miss Mia today which was a favorite class for our older campers this season. We loved watching everyone work together and learn from Miss Mia while they put their own special touch on our set for our production.

Campers of the Day!
Congratulations to our Campers of the Day! These campers were awarded for being an example to others, being a team player and for shining both on and off the stage! Congrats to Mya, Gemma, Gemma, Reagan, Brayden, and Eliza! #CCCshines
