After one whole week of singing, dancing, playing, and praying all day, everyday, our campers were thrilled to go outside and enjoy our very last water day of the summer!
We spent the first part of our day inside going over the many dance numbers and songs that we have learned over the last week. These include favorites like “Friend Like Me”, “Arabian Nights”, “Prince Ali”, and more! We also had dance class, special class, and faith formation.
In faith formation, Ms. Anne led her group in story time. She told the story of St. Clare, whom happens to have a feast day today, and how she went from being just a little girl to a Saint during a war. It was truly amazing!
Bringing Hope Home
We also had a very special guest come in today from Bringing Hope Home. We had the opportunity to pack up some goods such as coloring books, candy, toiletries, toothbrushes and toothpaste, and much more throughout our last few service projects at CCC and today we finally sent them off to Brining Hope Home. With them we are sure that they will find their way to an individual suffering from cancer who needs it. We were so proud of our CCC family!
Best Summer Ever!
Today was definitely one of the best water days of the summer. We had nonstop games of dodgeball, parachute time galore, and of course all the water slides we could need! Campers raced, jumped, and splashed on three different slides all throughout the day. Even the staff joined in on the fun! There were also water balloons and we ended the day with a popsicle treat😊.
