We are quickly approaching our final two days of Session II! We have loved watching this cast grow the past two weeks and can’t wait to watch them shine on the stage Thursday and Friday.
We spent our day polishing our production and having some fun with our fellow campers as it’s almost show time. It has always been so incredible watching the cast grow from Day 1 to our final days of each session. They come in on Day 1 ready to audition or learn the first thing about a new show and always impress us with just how much they can accomplish in a quick two weeks. By Day 6 and 7 of camp, they’re already rehearsing the full show. They can do anything! Thanks to our dedicated production team, our campers are led to shine on (and off) the stage always. They put hours of work into producing our musicals and share their gifts and talents to make each camper prepared. When the camp day is over, they keep going – making sure every detail is prepared for this quick turnaround and so that the audience has an enjoyable experience. So, come out and support our cast, crew, production team, staff and volunteers – you will be sure to love Disney’s The Jungle Book at CCC!
Christmas in July!
As always, we celebrated with lots of spirit and excitement as Christmas in July theme day made it’s return to camp today! We love to have our Christmas tunes playing throughout the day and seeing all the fun creations by our campers. It definitely put us all in a fun mood this morning!
Final Days in Art Class
To celebrate today’s theme, we made some messy puffy paint Santa’s in art class. We loved spreading Christmas cheer and enjoying time in the cold art room while we weren’t on stage.
