Another day is complete here at CCC as we are one step closer to our performances this week. Our day was full of reviewing and rehearsing as we are just about ready for our audience. Our campers and staff have been working so hard to bring this fun and quick musical to life!

Our morning started with stage time where we learned one of the last dances we needed to followed by the beginning of a run of our show. Mrs. AK jumped in to teach “That’s What Friends are For”, which has become a tradition here at CCC. Mrs. Deneen Ciancaglini created the original choreography for the dance back in 2011 and we’re so happy to bring it back for a third time to the stage. The lyrics have a special meaning to all of us here at CCC – that we will always lift one another up and look out for each other. The staff and volunteers jumped into help which made for lots of laughs and silly moments. We loved sharing this tradition with this group of campers and hope it continues on for many years! It was a fun way to quick off our day before our full rehearsal.

After our morning run and break, campers went through their rotation of classes. Each class was busy and full of hard work as well as creativity. It soon was lunch time followed by more classes and an afternoon run. Our campers were definitely tired by the end of the day after working so hard all day!

Creativity & Art Fun Continues!

It felt like a cold winter day in the art room today as we enjoyed the cold, cold air and some relaxing art projects with Mrs. Ellis. We got messy with some paint and enjoyed some down time with friends.

Miss Mia made her return to CCC this week and has been busy working on our set for our show. She also lead our set special class today for our older three groups where they designed vines that would be incorporated into our set. It was nice to see everyone work together and put their own touch on the show!
