What an awesome and busy first week at CCC! Our staff is half way through Summer 2023 and this session is half way complete! Our camp days as busy and fast moving, making for some tired campers come the end of the day!
On this busy Friday, we cycled through our classes and enjoyed some fun with all friends, new and old! In Art Class, campers made flowers out of tissue paper to celebrate the beauty in the jungle we prepare for our show next week! In games, campers played soccer with some challenging aspects added to it to make it harder. In faith formation, campers learned about the lost sheep and that God will always be there for us, even when we go astray. In music, we learned one of our favorite songs from this show, “That’s What Friends are For!”. In dance, we learn the dances to “Monkey Business” and “Bare Necessities (Finale)”. Finally, in our special class today the older campers played some summer games where they were challenged to see how many questions they could complete and also get correct in their quick class. The younger campers played charades. Lots of laughs were heard all around campus today!

We had another great time in art class with Mrs. Ellis. We enjoyed seeing everyones beautiful flowers throughout the camp day!

Mr. Brac’s daughter, Mila, made a special appearance at camp today for a quick visit! Before we know it, she will be on stage with her cousins at CCC!
