Another great day in the CCC camp book! We had a full day of learning and fun as our campers kept working towards putting our production together. Our days fly by as we go from class to class, soaking in all the lessons and learning all the important elements of our show. We always implement something into our day that will help teach some life lessons or skills that help us all be the best versions of ourselves. Today we talked about spreading kindness throughout our day. We left positive messages around camp for each other and continued to talk about the importance of being kind to one in another always.
We definitely had some fun throughout our day. While working on our show, we saw campers smiling and singing as well as many of our leads and supporting roles being silly as they worked on their scene work. We’re all about bringing fun into the hard work that goes with putting a production together. Between the staff, volunteers and campers, we definitely are seeing and hearing so much happiness!
Keeping Tradition Going!
In Art today, we worked on our “Kiss Bags”. This is a fun, simple project we do as we prepare for our production. Each camper will have a Kiss Bag displayed at the show where guests, family and friends can put messages and treats in each camper’s bags. As a part of our tradition, campers got to decorate their bags and relax in the art room!
A Sweet Treat!
It was the perfect day to enjoy some delicious water ice from Tyler’s Water Ice! Campers, volunteers and staff enjoyed a sweet treat following lunch before we wrapped up our day. It was great to take a break and enjoy the afternoon together while visiting the water ice truck!
Theme Day Winners
This was a fun theme day for sure! Celebrating our “Jungle Book” theme with jungle/animal theme day. Lots of incredible costumes and outfits were on display today. Great work by all! Congrats to our theme day winners!
