A fan favorite of ours is back on the CCC stage! CCC’s first ever summer camp production in 2011 featured Jungle Book Kids and we are so happy it’s back! This fun and lively Disney classic has been a hit at CCC since the beginning and we certainly hope this group loves it just as much!
Our next round of campers arrived ready for fun on this Monday morning! It was so nice to welcome our Session II campers and meet so many new faces. Throughout the day, new friendships and connections were made and we loved hearing the laughs and conversations in all of our spaces throughout the day. What was your child’s favorite part of Day 1?
After our morning orientation, we jumped right into break with our groups and got right down to work. Our older campers auditioned this morning for our show if they were interested while other campers were able to witness the audition experience as well as begin our round of classes. Some campers headed to art, games and faith formation, while others quickly got some Jungle Book music stuck in their brains! Before we knew it, it was time for lunch, where all campers got to relax and refresh outside. We have enjoyed our picnic style lunch the past few years and were grateful for the breeze in the courtyard. After lunch, we spent the afternoon going through some classes before we wrapped up with Stage Time as an entire camp. The day flew by as all our camp days do! We look forward to all the fun ahead in the next two weeks!
Fun in Art!
Art has always been a relaxing part of our camp day. We jumped right into some messy fun with Mrs. Ellis as we worked out painting and creating our own lions for our Jungle Book theme. We can’t wait to see what else our artists come up with this session!
