To hold me down…to make me fret…or make me frown! Day 2 and we’re off and running! Campers jumped right into working on our production through music, dance, and more! Our morning began with some fun with our staff before we began to review music and get on our way. Pinocchio led us from the start jumping right into his song of “I’ve Got No Strings”. Our cast quickly followed along as they worked hard from the start getting to know this new tune. We are so proud of this group already!
Beat the Heat!
It’s been quite a hot summer at CCC and we are hopeful the temperatures will be cooling down for us in the remaining days of Session III. Our campers have not let the heat bring them down (“…or make them frown!”). We enjoyed the outdoors for games in the courtyard where we have some shade while rotating through our classes. Campers also had the opportunity to visit music, dance, art and faith formation throughout the day. In our five class rotation, campers had the chance to get to know fellow group members and get into the CCC routine now that camp is really moving quickly! We loved seeing all the many smiling faces throughout the day in all of our classes and hearing about the new friendships and connections made throughout Day 2!
