What’s New from Day 2!
Tuesday of Week 1 brought another great day here at CCC as campers eased into their routine of camp and went right to work at putting our production together. Our morning routine of stage time went quickly as quickly started to be taught. Campers worked together on one of our first big full cast numbers. We were so impressed with their performances early in the morning on Day 2. We are excited to see all they accomplish in the next two weeks.

Class Rotations!
Day 2 had us busy in our five classes of games, dance, music, art and faith formation as we traveled through the halls and grounds of COHS together. In Art Class, campers made their own locket as Annie has her own locket in the show that is so special to her. In Games class, campers played intense games of Capture the Flag, which has been a favorite for campers all summer long. In Faith Formation, campers talked about the meaning of prayer and seeing God as our friend, not using Him as our life boat. Campers played Ships and Sailors in Faith Formation to go with this lesson. In Dance and Music, campers focused on important parts of our show. From learning lyrics to melodies as well as choreography, campers were very busy on and off the stage today!
It was great to see new friendships be made throughout each class and to hear the many laughs throughout the groups all day. We look forward to seeing many new friendships form and old ones continue to make great memories. At the end of the day at CCC, it is about being all together, as the family of CCC, making great memories on and off the stage while we grow as a performer. Often we hear campers say the experience being on the stage together is what matters most to them and the memories shared throughout camp are what they remember most.
Tomorrow brings Disney Day and much more fun! We look forward to seeing lots of fun Disney costumes and apparel in the morning!
