…And We’re Off!
The adventures of Junie B. Jones at CCC are officially underway as our first full day of classes preparing for our musical are now complete! A busy day kept our campers learning and working together as they know there is a lot of work ahead. One of the fun (and crazy!) things about CCC camp is that we put together a junior length musical with elementary and middle school aged students in just 8 days. On Days 9 and 10, we perform! There is no doubt that each camper is working hard all day at camp and even at home too!
Our morning was kicked off with our President & Founder, Mr. Brac, which pumped us up and set us off and running for a busy and fun day ahead.
Throughout the day campers rotated through music, dance, art, games and blocking. We did not waste a minute of rehearsal time as every opportunity to work on our show is important! While we weren’t working on our show, we had fun laughing and relaxing with our groups. Throughout the day campers were seen working together reading lines, highlighting scripts, and just enjoying each other’s company!
After lunch, campers gathered for our faith formation session of the day where we talked about letting our light shine (#CCCshines) and how we could see God in so many people who are examples in our life. Campers shared how their parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, friends, teachers, fellow campers and many others were all examples to them to shine their light. We connected that the love we feel for those people is sent by God and that God truly is love in our lives. Because of this shared loved, we continue to SHINE!

So Much Accomplished!
Our Production Team did not stop today! They worked around the clock with multiple groups ensuring that we were checking items of our list! By the final stage time of the day, our campers and entire staff was so impressed with all that was done. We can’t wait to watch this show come to life over the next week and a half!

- All students in K-12th grade are invited to sing at CCC’s Performance in the Park that will take place Wednesday, August 4th at approximately 7:00pm at the Springfield Township Building Lawn located on Powell Road. Students in incoming 5th-12th grade are permitted to sign up for a solo performance. All other students will participate as ensemble members in the large group numbers. Come and sing with CCC as we showcase songs from School House Rock and Junie B. Jones! Rehearsals will take place on: July 15th from 4:00-5:00, July 21st from 4:00-5:00, August 3rd from 3:00-5:30 Sign Up Today!
