Day 4 brought another full day of fun and adventure as campers continued to work hard on our production of School House Rock Live! Jr. From learning dances, music, blocking and more, campers are quickly putting together our production. After a very quiet year here at CCC, we couldn’t be more excited to have our first summer camp show taking place next week.

We are so grateful for our dedicated team who is working so hard all day long. Many of our staff members are alumni of our program who were also campers years ago! Throughout our summer months, we will be sharing many of our staff’s stories and why they are involved with CCC.

We also would like to extend our appreciation to our Summer Camp Sponsors who have generously supported our camp program this year. CCC’s sponsorship program exists to support the mission and vision of our organization so that each child can continue to benefit from the great opportunity to be exposed to music, ministry and performing arts at a young age.

Sponsorships assist in the following ways at CCC:

  • Scholarship costs for families who cannot afford or face hardships.
  • Support of Production Costs including production royalties/rights, rental costs, technical needs for stage design including audio/visual needs, costumes and props.

Fun in the Sun!

We’ve had some beautiful weather these past two days and have loved being able to enjoy time outside. Our day was filled with a variety of activities where campers had the chance to participate in games, relax under the trees or run lines and music with one another.

Campers were able to learn a little bit of history today as we learned “The Preamble” in Music Class as well as in Dance Class. We love the educational focus of School House Rock Live Jr.! and all that are campers are able to learn about through their time at a performing arts camp. In Art Class, camper made their own Earth headband and talked about the planets that are also being designed into our set today.

Tickets are now on sale for our performances that will take place next Thursday and Friday! Join us Thursday, July 1st at 7:00pm or Friday, July 2nd at 2:00pm at COHS. For tickets and information, click here.

As we wrapped up Day 4, we celebrated our next group of Campers of the Day! Congratulations to Matthew, Jack, Brayden and Lillian! We look forward to our final day of camp this week tomorrow! #CCCshines
