CCC is bringing School House Rock Live! JR. back to the stage as Summer 2021 kicks off! CCC presented School House Rock Live Jr. in August of 2017 and it has always been a favorite of ours. Who doesn’t love “Conjunction Function”, “Just a Bill” and “A Noun is a Person, Place or Thing”? These tunes will take many of us back to the Emmy Award-winning Saturday morning educational cartoon series.
As Day 2 kicked off, campers were busy as they jumped right into their routine of classes and putting together our production. Campers worked hard all day as they were learning music and dances that will delight our audience next week at our two performances.
Campers were able to relax and enjoy time with one another in games and art classes. In Art Class, campers made their own planets as well as macaroni necklaces. In games class, campers played musical chairs and dodgeball. The day was full of fun and laughter! We love to see our campers having such a great time together while they learn and work together.
Our days fly by at camp where campers are learning from our Production Team and work together to make our show come to life. From our youngest to our oldest camper, the songs and dances of our production surround us all day long as we work hard and learn from our dedicated team. Throughout the day, campers split up and work with different team members to learn various songs, scenes, dances, staging, solos and more! No matter what we’re focusing on, we see campers working together and laughing through the day. It is a welcomed sound as our summer days are off and running!
As we wrapped up our day, we celebrated our Campers of the Day! Congrats to Evie, Anna, Avery and Dionna! Tomorrow brings our first theme day of the summer: USA Day! We can’t wait to see what our campers have prepared for our day!
