Final Theme Day of the Summer!
Our campers made a beautiful display of color as we celebrated our CCC Spirit Day/Tie Dye Day here on our final theme day of the summer. From the many #ShineforMissSteph tees to the new ‘Peace, Love, CCC” gear to awesome creations, we loved every bit of this theme day!
With unexpected rain this morning, we adjusted our schedule to keep campers safe and keep working on our production. We divided and conquered as groups went in different directions and got to work once mid morning hit. Our guppies group had a fun morning with Ms. AK in art class as we made our very own silly face designs and laughed along the way. It was fun to make some more final summer camp memories this morning as our session end draws near.
We just loved the awesome display of spirit and tie dye worn by the campers. It was so fun to see so many throw back shirts and lots of spirit across the board. Our campers definitely gave us some hard choices for our theme day winners!
Faith Formation with Mr. Brac
Campers spent time around our grotto this afternoon before heading back into rehearsal with Mr. Brac in Faith Formation. We focused on the first reading and psalm of the day. We talked about how sheep need their shepherd and how Jesus is the ultimate shepherd. We talked about how we all have shepherds in our lives and how we need to lift them up in our prayers. We also prayed for vocations and that those who feel they have a calling will follow their call to serve.

We are so grateful to be able to have camp this summer! It has been a blessing for sure for CCC through this unprecedented time.
