Here we go!
We can’t believe it…our final week of #SummerbytheCCC20 is here! It has truly been a memorable summer and one we are so grateful for. Things are definitely different around here but we are happy to be together and make some awesome memories. Most importantly, we thank our parents and guardians for sending their child(ren) to us and trusting us during this unprecedented time.
As we go through our final week, we invite you to look back at our blog from this summer and relive all the great memories made. We are incredibly grateful to our team who has gone above and beyond and helped keep CCC safe. They are amazing young people making a difference here in the world right at CCC!
Putting our Production Together
We were so happy to see our campers back on this beautiful Monday after a great weekend. We hope everyone had the chance to rest and relax so we could jump right back into routine. Campers spent their day learning more singing, dancing and blocking for our production as well as enjoyed some down time in games and art. Tomorrow, we finish up learning all of the pieces to our production so we can spending our final days putting the show together and rehearsing.
Campers had some fun in our acting class today with “Talking with Tina”. It’s a camper favorite! In games, we played a game called ‘Burn’ which is a mix of hot potato meets musical chairs. In Art, campers exercised their creative side as they made their own fish from paper plates. It was another all around busy day in the sunshine! We look forward to the great plans for Tuesday!
Hard Work All Day!
Our campers spent their whole day working hard and cheering each other on. It was so great to see their teamwork and support of one another as we approach another production. Way to go campers!
