Disney Day at CCC!
We have loved celebrating Disney Day at CCC! So many awesome costumes and tributes to Disney. From costumes, to individual creations, to throwback CCC shirts and more, we loved being surrounded by Disney! Check out our full instagram story (@ccchoir) to see all the fun from the day!
A Day Full of Work!
The start of the day was super warm! By the afternoon, we could tell a storm was a brewin’! It was appropriate that we worked on “Fathoms Below” which introduces the sailors to our show. Later on in the show, the sailors battle a storm on the ocean which is where we see Ariel swim to the top of the ocean and becomes human. We adjusted our day to make sure we all stayed safe. Our campers are doing a great job despite all of the changes and new routines we have going on this summer. We are so proud!
In Music and Dance, we continued on working on our production with musical numbers. So much is done already and we are only three days in! In Acting, our leads worked with Miss Tina on their blocking for the show. Other campers and their groups had the chance to work on their own acting skills by playing a variety of games with Miss Tina. We bet you see some of these games at home!
In Art, campers made their own bracelet to symbolize the friendships made at CCC. Miss Livi talked to our campers about how special the friendships are that we make at camp and how the beads can symbolize the memories or the people we meet here at CCC! In games, campers rotated through a variety of different games throughout the day. We love that we have all different options to keep us busy while we are not working on our show.
Sharks Having Fun!
Our “oldest” group featuring many of our leads enjoyed some time outdoors together before the rain and thunder hit! So many of these group member have been coming to camp for many years or members of CCC school year performances. We love seeing so many of these friendships continue to grow and build memories!
