…makes us strong!”

Back in action on this Monday with week two of Shrek Jr.! We cannot believe how quickly this time has gone by for these first two sessions of #SummerbytheCCC20. So many new friendships, memories and great moments through the first half of our summer together. We have loved getting to know all of our campers, both new and old, and watching each shine on our “stage”.

We’ve had a great time putting this show together and we still have several days full of hard work ahead of us. Campers came in on this Monday rejuvenated and ready to work. We know so many of our campers spent their welcome reviewing all that they learned and practiced. We know their hard work here at camp and practicing at home will certainly pay off!

Dragon Art

Art class has been a highlight of many of our days and we have loved seeing so many great projects by all of our campers. We love the chance to check out of our rehearsal portions of the day and enjoy using our creative side in art class with Miss Livi and her crew!

Faith Formation with Mr. Longo

CCC has always been about faith and fun coming together in all that we do. Since the very beginning, we have always enjoyed taking a theme from one of our shows and apply it to our time we spend in Faith Formation. Today we were lucky to have Mr. Longo with us, who has shared his faith and energy with us countless times since the beginning of CCC.

Mr. Longo shared with us the story of David and Samuel. With the help of our campers, Mr. Longo had many of us act out the story and drive the message home. Through this time in Faith Formation, Mr. Longo reminds us to not judge a book by it’s cover and to be good to on another.

Learning our Final Moves!

We’ve learned so many dances and songs in just six days at camp and now that we’ve finished learning for the most part, we will keep practicing and making each portion of our show better. We’ve learned from a great production team who has worked so hard to put our show together. We can’t wait to see the entire show!

Campers of the Day!

Each day we feature campers who shine both on and off the stage and are an example to others. Congrats to our Campers of the Day: Ella, Izzie, Lincoln & Vivian! #CCCshines
