Wrapping Up Week 1 of Shrek Jr.!

Since 2007! We’ve always said CCC’s performs hand in hand, since the very beginning. It has always been important to us that campers support one another, cheer each other on and look out for one another. CCC is truly a family!

Now more than ever, we are reminded how important it is to be looking out for one another as members of CCC. With current guidelines, we group campers together with siblings and neighbors, which is something we don’t always get to do. Doing this has allowed siblings to spend time together at camp and support each other throughout the day. Even though many of us have been spending a lot of time together through COVID-19, we are still seeing siblings (and groups) go out of their way to include others and to have the best day possible. We love that CCC has a family feel and that our campers embrace that piece of our history.

We have many siblings and cousins in this session and have loved seeing them work together. It is great to see all of the relatives share some great memories together here at CCC!

Recapping our Week!

It has been a busy and fun week here at CCC as we wrap up week one of Shrek Jr. Campers have worked so hard every day to learn so much that will make their performance of Shrek Jr awesome! We hope campers have given our parents a great recap of their day (and week) and shared something new they have learned.

Today, we connected our themes from Shrek Jr to our real life. We learned one of our favorite songs, “Freak Flag” at camp this week and we love the themes the song shares. We celebrated our many gifts, talents and what makes us all special. We celebrated that even if we are different from one another, we all have a gift to share. We love that our campers celebrate these gifts and talents and are supportive to one another. Keep on shining, CCC!

Campers of the Day!

Each day we feature campers who shine both on and off the stage and are an example to others. Congrats to our Campers of the Day: Maddy, Luke & Ella! #CCCshines
