Day 2 of Shrek Jr. brought lots of excitement and smiles as we came back together and got right to work this morning. Campers were ready to go as we reviewed our music and dances from yesterday and started exploring our plan for today. We introduced a new song, “Story of my Life” which features all of the many fairytale characters featured in this show. While we learned this new tune, many of our campers talked about the very different stories of all the different characters. From Peter Pan, to the Wicked Witch, Pinnochio and more, this show features many of our favorite characters from books and movies we all read or saw in our childhood years.

Campers know there is so much to do as this show is one we would typically do over a longer production season. We will be creating our performance in the course of 9 short days and we are ready for the task at hand! We are excited to watch it come together!

Dance all Day Long!

Whether we are in stage time or in dance class, campers are quickly learning lots of movement that will be in our performance. Campers are working with our alumni duo of Molly and Casey who are sharing their gifts and talents as they create and teach their own choreography. They are doing an awesome job!

Making Memories all Day Long

When we weren’t busy working on our show today, campers had some downtime in art class and games class. As we did in the first session, campers have enjoyed the grounds of St. Kevin while we get out some energy in games playing Detective Frog and Capture the Flag. In Art Class, campers made bracelets. So many smiles all around!

Campers of the Day!

Each day we feature campers who shine both on and off the stage and are an example to others. Congrats to our Campers of the Day: Allie, Michael, Madelyn & Annabelle! #CCCshines
