Almost One Week Until Show Day!

Four days are now complete at Session II of #SummerbytheCCC19 and you can feel the energy and excitement (…and the humidity!) filling the theater and classrooms. With another hard days of work complete, our campers are super pumped for everyone’s favorite day, WATER DAY!

Tomorrow brings another fun CCC tradition as Water Day returns. With a decent forecast predicted, there is sure to be some competition on the slip and slides and laughs as we fly down the the Big Kahuna!

Friendship and Fun at CCC!

During a busy stage time, we focused on more vocals as we learned one of the hardest songs of the show, “Prince Ali”. This is a great one to practice at home so be sure to review tonight!

Build Your Own Rosary & More!

In Art, Miss Grace and her classes made rosary rings where each camper was able to pick his or her own beads to personalize their ring. While they were making their rosary rings, each class prayed a decade of the rosary led by campers. What a fun craft for our campers to do and to bring home to share with their families! Together, we brought faith and fun [center stage]!

Campers also visited the Chapel with Mr. Field and continued to share stories about miracles! Mr. Field talked about the Shroud of Turin and it’s connection to our belief in the Resurrection. We are surrounded by many miracles every day and so many that guide our faith!

Putting it Together!

One of our favorite phrases is ‘putting it together’ at CCC! With many campers of varied ages and experience, it is always rewarding seeing the show come together each day more and more. With key elements of our show being music, dance, and acting, our team is knee deep in hard work with this cast! We made sure to have some fun throughout the day…Any camper can tell you how goofy Mr. Brac can be. There were many laughs in music class today. Keep up the great work at home reviewing the music and tomorrow will be even better!

Fun & Games!

A busy day full of hard work is nothing without some fun and games! With humidity and rain on the way, we stayed in the air for games with Mr. Babcock and his crew. From Musical Chairs to Connect 4, to Heads Up, to Table Tennis and more, there was plenty of fun for all! Wrapping up our day was one last stage time and a dance party led by Miss Erin, Miss Melissa & Miss Grace! We’re not sure how, but we still had lots of energy at 2:30pm! Here’s to another great night of sleep!
