Tomorrow’s the Day! #CCCshines

We’re hours away from our first performance of the summer season and the excitement is infectious! With a solid day of hard work and fun added in, this talented cast is ready to go! Our final day of camp was packed from start to finish. Our campers moved through a different rotation of class to wrap up our two weeks. We hope they came home and told you all about it!

Come Follow Me!

Some of our campers spent time with Mr. Field in the Chapel this morning. Mr. Field talked about the call of Jesus to the 12 apostles. After learning about the 12 apostles, campers were able to be the example of Jesus and have campers follow them (“Follow the Leader” in the Chapel). It made for some pretty memorable moments for our children!

Growing our Acting Skills with Miss Melissa!

Our camp days go by so fast as we are quickly putting our show together! Today, we took some time to learn from Miss Melissa about preparing for an audition or maybe even a dream role. Miss Melissa shared with us her best practices when it comes to working towards a lead role and/or supporting role. Even though camp is coming to a close tomorrow, we can always continue to grow in our skills and prepare for future productions. Thanks, Miss Melissa!

Our Dalmatians are Ready!

We hope you have loved watching us grow and shine the past two weeks! Although they have flown by, we still have one fun day ahead of us and we are very excited! We invite you to come and enjoy our performances of Disney’s 101 Dalmatians Kids Friday at 2:00pm & 7:00pm. Tickets are available at the door for both performances.

The Beauty of Theater (& Summer Camp!)

There are so many wonderful things about theater and the performing arts. There are the great stories, both timeless and new. There are large and small productions. There are costumes and thoughtful scenic design, both large and small. There is beautiful music and songs that we can’t get out of our heads. There is so much that makes being involved in theater and the performing arts something you will always be grateful for. Of all the great things theater, music and the performing arts gives us, nothing compares to the friendships found on the stage.

Through the past two weeks, we have witnessed many new friendships form and old friendships grow. We have watched strangers become best buds. We have watched older campers look out for younger campers and new bonds be created. We have watched our staff grow and make a wonderful experience possible for so many. Most of all, we’ve watched the talented cast of Disney’s 101 Dalmatians Kids shine both on and off the stage. We hope you never forget these memories! #CCCshines
