And we’re back!

After a beautiful weekend, we’re back to work! Coming in this Monday morning was a very excited group of campers as we kicked off Production Week! While the weekend was probably busy for most, our campers came in ready to put in a day full of hard work. From start to finish, the cast of Disney’s 101 Dalmatians Kids did not disappoint! As we always do, we started the day together for stage time before our morning snack and our class rotations. With much chatter and excitement about the fun ahead this week, our campers were full of smiles and energy as we traveled the halls together.
“Nothing is Impossible with God”

With a new week, we also welcomed Mr. Field back to camp! Mr. Field begins his third summer at CCC this week and brings much to our organization. Leading Faith Formation and always jumping in during games, stage time, and more, you will be sure to here about this team member (he’s even made his way onto the stage during some previous productions)! In Faith Formation today, Mr. Field talked about John the Baptist. John the Baptist taught us that while we might not understand God’s plan for us, we are to believe in what God has in store for us. As the day continued, you could hear campers talking about their time in the chapel and repeating the same phrase, “Nothing is impossible with God.” What a beautiful reminder!
“Kanine Krunchies Can’t Be Beat…”

Is this song in your head too? It’s a camp favorite for sure. Members of the Kanines group were able to spend some time in art today making their custom Kanine Krucnhie cereal boxes. With much creativity and unique designs, this group definitely has some interesting creations! Check them out on stage this Friday!
Let the Sun Shine!

This afternoon we spent some time enjoying fresh air and the sun! With all campers together outside, you could see many friendships blossoming and great fun being had by all. After putting many hours into our production today, it was nice to sit back and relax for a bit before our final stage time of the day. Whether campers were sitting together in small groups or busy playing dodgeball, we were all sure to make the most of our down time!
Final Stretch of our Day
