That’s a wrap for week one of Session I at CCC! With Wooder Day full of water, games, slides, races, sunshine, and more, we’re all ready for a couple days of rest and relaxation! Our day kicked off with the great debate…WATER or WOODER! No surprise here, WOODER was the favored choice. With a debate behind us, some stage time and morning warm ups, we quickly moved into our camp routine! Everyone was super excited to spend some time outside, even with the cloudy and somewhat chilly morning we had. It was a nice break from the intense humidity we experienced all week!

While we spent much of our day outside, we did spend some important time putting our show together through music and blocking classes. We’re close to being able to run our production and look forward to seeing it all come together next week when we’re back together. You would think after 5 days of hard work, our voices would be tired but you would have never known that walking into to the theater today. We sounded our best yet and had energy that was infectious, making for quite the successful day!

Making our Costume Accessories!

In Art today, three of our groups have the opportunity to customize a piece of their costumes for our production next week. There is nothing better than seeing the excitement on our campers faces when they get to create and personalize something that they will wear in our productions. With the soundtrack to 101 Dalmatians in the background, our art classes were busy singing and designing their own dalmatian hat to wear. You will absolutely love seeing these adorable dalmatian puppy hats fill our stage next Friday!

Water you know? More Water Day Fun!
