We’re 4 days in and making great strides towards our production of Disney’s 101 Dalmatians Kids at CCC! With music, dance and blocking classes busier than ever, our campers are sure to be exhausted! Adding some fun in with art, games and some outside time and we’re 100% ready for Water Day tomorrow!
Watch out for Cruella De Vill, Horace & Jasper!
Jumping into the iconic villain character Cruella De Vill this summer is long time camp member Delaney Horner. Starring next to Delaney are Cruella’s henchmen, Horace & Jasper, played by Ruth Snediker & Grace Nelson. This trio is a great group filled with energy and great character as they work together on and off the stage. You will certainly enjoy their performances next week!

While some of our leading performers spent time working one on one with our Assistant Directors, Mr. Ryan & Miss Melissa, the rest of our cast spent time together on stage learning even more new music. We even added in some dance time with Miss Erin during our Stage Time. There were so many smiles and lots of laughs as we all showed off our best dance moves and followed along with Miss Erin’s choreography.

After lunch, the entire camp went outside and enjoyed group games. So many times our campers ask to spend time as a whole group so everyone has the opportunity to meet campers of all ages. When we can, we like to make sure this happens! Before the downpours came in late this afternoon, we enjoyed some time in both the sun and the shade with friends and family members who are all attending camp. It was so wonderful to see our campers and counselors all together, enjoying some fresh (humid) air!

With one stage time left and the end of the day drawing near, we moved inside for some time in the chapel as the CCC Family. With a special guest and gospel reflection by Fr. John Masson, we came together to pray with and for one another. Thank you, Fr. John! With four days down and just one to go, we are all ready for Water Day! Come back tomorrow to see all of the fun. We can’t wait! #CCCshines #SummerbytheCCC19
