Day 1 of #SummerbytheCCC19
….And we’re back! What a perfect day at CCC Summer Camp kicking off our first session of the summer. Our campers arrived with lots of energy and smiling faces as we began our first day. It is always great to see many returning faces and welcome new members to the CCC family. We are without a doubt excited for the great camp weeks ahead!
We kicked off our day with our morning prayer led by Mr. Brac, our Director & Founder. Mr. Brac is the founder of CCC and has built our program to be what it is today! In 2011, Mr. Brac and Miss AK added our summer camp program to what CCC offers and the program continues to grow and expand each year. This year, we had record breaking numbers and registration closed earlier than ever!
Following our morning stage time and break, we moved into audition time for our 2nd-8th graders and Art & Games classes for our Mini-Campers and Kindergarten & 1st grade groups. While our older campers were busy auditioning, our younger campers enjoyed the sunshine and some time with their groups getting right into our camp routine!
Throughout our day, we visited Art Class making Dalmatian faces, Games Class for some classic dodgeball and freeze tag and in Music Class, we began to learn the Dalmatian Conga. After much hard work on a busy Day 1, we finally reached our last part of our day where we gathered for Stage Time with all of our campers. We worked on vocals for the beginning of our show and enjoyed time with new friends on the CCC stage. Our campers received their t-shirt and their full script today. We look forward to seeing all of our campers bright and early for Day 2 in their new CCC tees as we prepare for our first production of the summer, Disney’s 101 Dalmatians Kids!
Campers Ella & Caleb received our first “Camper of the Day” awards! These awards go to campers who shine both on and off the stage and are an example to all. #CCCshines
