Hello and welcome to day 9 of Seussical Kids, Catholic Community Choir’s second summer camp. Our show opens tomorrow and we couldn’t be more excited! Today has been all about putting the final touches on our production. It’s crazy to think that this camp is almost over! These past two weeks have flown by because we’ve been having so much fun together. Nothing beats a day at CCC summer camp!
Today has been full of singing, dancing, costumes, microphones, and fun! We did two complete runs of our show. The campers practiced their big musical numbers and went over tough spots of the show. Our second run of the show even included costumes. Our costumes really help our campers bring this show to life. We can’t thank staff member Gina Reed enough for working so hard on them. Seussical Kids follows The Cat in the Hat and a child named Jojo as they get a front row seat to Horton’s adventure when he finds the Whos. Horton has to go through a lot of trouble to be able to protect the tiniest planet in the sky, Whoville! The audience will definitely love this exciting show.
We can’t wait for you to see our shows tomorrow, July 20th, at 2pm and 7pm. Buy your tickets to see Seussical Kids here! Tickets are also available at the door. We promise you will not want to miss this!
