Today is day four of Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr. and we are having such a great time! The staff loves becoming close with all the campers and helping them learn the show. Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr. is full of upbeat songs and energetic dances, so the campers are having lots of fun. It’s hard to believe that this is our last camp. We’ve had a ball this summer with three shows and hundreds of campers!

We’ve had a very productive day here at CCC. In vocal class, taught by Mr. Brac, the campers learned the song “Elbow Room.” In dance class the children reviewed all of the dances they’ve been learning this past week. In art class the campers worked on their kiss bags. Kiss bags are decorated by the campers and put in the lobby during the performances so friends and family can put nice notes and candy in them. In games, the children played kickball. And lastly, the older campers blocked the song “The Great American Melting Pot.” Camp days are filled with many fun classes that each camper can enjoy.

Tomorrow is Water Day, which is always loved by campers. Our very own Mr. Field and Cardinal O’Hara’s Father Masson will be racing down our big waterslide. Stay tuned to see who wins! We can’t wait for you to see our performances on Friday, August 18th at 2pm and 7pm. Tickets are available online or at the door. The ticket link is here.
