Welcome to CCC’s Summer Blog! This summer, we’ll be featuring many of our staff members who will be sharing what’s going on at CCC every day!
Camp – Day 1! Featuring “Annie Kids”:
9:00am: June 19, 2017 – 170 excited and energetic campers arrived at Catholic Community Choir to begin Summer Camp, Session I! Campers had little time to rest as many just finished school on Friday. Wasting no time, we got right to work! In stage time, we met our groups and the staff and began working on the first big musical number, “NYC”.
From there, we took some time to refuel at snack and ventured on to our first rotation of classes. Throughout the morning, campers experience dance and vocals class, as well as art and games. We were grateful the storms held off and we could enjoy the summer breeze!
After our morning session, we enjoyed a much needed lunch and time with friends. The lunch room was busy with laughter and excitement as the days ahead were discussed. After lunch, we moved back to our class rotation where we spent time with Miss Kelly in Art, Mr. Field in the Chapel, Mr. Babcock in Games, Mr. Brac in Music and Miss Erin & Miss Rachel in Dance. As the day came close to an end, we spent our last few minutes together in the theater practicing all that we learned for the day.
Tomorrow we’ll be ready to enjoy some more fun! Check back to see all that our campers experience and watch our production of “Annie Kids” come to life over the next two weeks!
Be sure to join us on Friday, June 30th at 2:00pm and 7:00pm for our production of Annie Kids at Cardinal O’Hara High School. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at the door! For more information on CCC Summer Camps, visit our Summer Camp Page!
